Our story
We started building ecommerce. We ended up rebuilding the stack underneath it.
We started in the early 2020s, shipping ecommerce for Serbian mid-market businesses, and kept hitting the same wall. The checkout was never the problem. Every system around it lived in a silo, and every change waited on a developer.
That's how oozmi started. Running the business had become the integration project — so we built one platform our customers actually needed. One unified data model. Every business function as a module. Natural-language customization in every corner.
Our mission
Give every business — regardless of size — the operating system the biggest companies take for granted.
Starting in Serbia. Coming to the world.
The problem · our solution
Mid-market is asked to operate like enterprise — with a stack assembled one function at a time.
Fragmented systems quietly tax the business.
CRM here, ERP there, ecommerce somewhere else, reporting in spreadsheets, analytics in another separate system. The cost is predictable: leaders lose a trusted view of the business, operators wait on developers for routine changes, finance reconciles after the fact.
With the rise of AI, in such an environment it can only be bolted on top of all these different tools — it can summarize, but it cannot safely act, because the data and permissions it needs are spread across too many places.
One model, one permission layer, one audit trail.
oozmi is a unified business platform for CRM, ERP, commerce, content, workflows, analytics, and AI-assisted operations. The important part isn't the module list — it's that the modules store data in one place, allowing for one permission model and one audit trail.
For a CEO, a cleaner operating picture. For a COO, fewer handoffs. For a CTO, fewer brittle integrations and a clearer line between production and AI experiments.
Why now
AI raised the expectation. It also exposed the fragmented stack.
An agent cannot reliably change a discount, update an order, or prepare a workflow if the source of truth is split across systems with different rules.
Our view is conservative: AI should propose work, show the change, respect permissions, write through the same transaction path as a human user, and leave an audit record. That's why oozmi is a platform first and an AI surface second.
Where we stand
What ships today — and what doesn't, yet.
Production with a small reference base.
- Commerce Storefront, checkout, catalog
- CRM Accounts, contacts, deals
- CMS Pages, content, media
- OMS Orders, fulfillment, returns
- Analytics Reports, dashboards
- Workflows Automation, triggers
- AI Builder LLM apps, prompts
What we are not — yet
- Not a self-serve SaaS checkout — stack replacement and operating-system work need scoping, migration planning, and a proof path.
- Not a partner marketplace — we don't yet have a large implementation ecosystem.
- Not a certified compliance platform — we support auditability, permissions, and deployment controls, but formal certifications should be verified in contract, not inferred from marketing copy.
- Not a finished public developer ecosystem — REST is the mature integration path; public docs and developer tooling are early.

A pricing change, campaign launch, order flow, reporting handoff, or approval path. We'll show how that work would move through the platform, what's production-ready today, and what would need a pilot.
